2013/2014 Program Description

At Team Utah Canyons, we believe that coaching is essential in the lifelong pursuit of progression in snowboarding. By incorporating each athlete into the process of goal setting, competition planning, fitness evaluations, and conditioning planning, we can set the stage for success. With professional coaches, athletes build strong foundations and skill sets through progression to maintain the highest level of safety possible.

Benefits of Team Utah  membership includes:

  • Training will cover all aspects of riding, including, but not only, freestyle, halfpipe, freeriding, alpine and boardercross.
  • Travel oppurtunities
  • Riders will compete in local and regional events in the Intermountain area. 
  • Riders will have the opportunity to qualify for bigger events like USASA Nationals, USSA Revolution Tour and USSA Grand Prix events
  • Summer Camp opportunities will be available, cost and venues TBA
  • Dryland training will begin in the summer.
  • Discounted Season Pass to Canyons resort for athlete (Discounts for immediate family are also available)
  • Discounts on Gear are available at multiple shop locations.
  • Average athlete to coach ratio is 5:1.

Costs:

Team Utah Annual Membership Fee $155

Annual membership gives members access to discounted pricing on equipment through our sponsors, as well as access to all of our team services: coaching, dry land cross training, filming, travel opportunities, and career counseling.

Saturday or Sunday 16 week Program

9a.m.-3p.m.

December-March

*Group programs require a minimum of 4 riders.
