PROGRAMS: Start By Setting Your Goals
A personalized set of goals for each snowboard club member is the key to facilitating your progression. A goal setting meeting with a Team Utah coach is free and will help to give you some direction in your snowboard progression. NOTE: A current USSA and Team Utah membership is required to participate in any team run programs.
We don't teach lessons. We provide structured coaching by certified coaches designed to facilitate progression towards each rider's personalized goals.
Seasonal Programs: 3 and 6-hour weekly training sessions, ranging from 1 through 5 days per week, December through March. Choose your volume of training and then set your custom training schedule.
Special Programs: 3-hour sessions in small groups, focused achieving specific goals. Designed to supplement group coaching sessions. Sessions scheduled based on coach availability, seasonal group programs take priority.
Camps: Weekend and full week sessions offered at Utah mountains during the winter and worldwide during Utah's non-winter months.
Seasonal Winter training rates based on a 16 week season
Coaching sessions can be used towards group training sessions and for coaching at competitions. Scholarships are available, and awarded annually based on both merit and need.
Important: For competition coaching that involves travel, the coach's travel expense is NOT included. Any travel expenses for coaches travelling to competitions will be split by the competitors receiving coaching at a particular event.

During the non-winter months in Utah we utilize the world class facilities at the Utah Olympic Park, USSA's Center of Excellence, as well as the multitude of skateparks, and mountain bike trails in the area to prep our bodies for success on the snow.
At the Utah Olympic Park our weekly sessions focus on skill building using the dry slope airbag jump.
At the Center of Excellence our weekly sessions focus on skill building using skateboards on the vert ramp, skate bowl, pump track, and launch ramp as well as air awareness and trick progression on the trampolines.
Airbag Jump Training at the UOP - $55 per session
*Also required but purchased directly from the Utah Olympic Park: A facility lift ticket ($15 per session) or season pass ($100) is required to participate
Skateboard and Trampoline Training at the USSA Center of Excellence - $22 per session
By travelling with the team instead of on your own you can save significantly on travel expenses. We travel to pursue every competitive discipline in snowboarding. We offer all inclusive trip packages to regional, national, and World Cup competitions. We also offer training trips and bucket list life enrichment trips, like our film and freeride focused trip to Japan.
Trips cost vary based on number of participants and domestic vs. international travel.
All inclusive trips include transportation, lodging, food, coaching and lift tickets. Some trips include venue costs (like at exclusive training venues or registration fees to competitions) or additional overheads (like bringing a professional photographer/videographer/back country guide)
On average, all inclusive domestic trips cost $150/day/person.
On average, all inclusive international trips cost $250/day/person.
The Path to Pro
For a career in snowboarding you need more than just a bag of tricks, you need a reputation of strong character, to be known as the kind of person that people can rely on. You're not just going to show up to an opportunity, you're going to be there prepared to step up and throw down. You build that reputation by participating in volunteer and internship opportunities that open the door to becoming a professional. Many of these opportunities do not cost money, your time and effort are your investment. You can even fulfill internship requirements for your college degree. For many these experiences turn into paid positions.
